How to make the most of your time

Five minutes ago, I was in high school and I was worrying about whether or not I will be accepted into my university degree. Now, I have almost graduated university and my journey in the workforce has begun. As I think back on all of my time that has past, I wonder if there is anything that I would change? There is nothing significant that I need to change, but perhaps the changes that I would make could have a significant effect on my journey? I have collated my most valuable tips to make the most of every second of your time to make every day the best that it can be.
DO IT!
If you are presented with an opportunity and even just the smallest part of you wants to do it, do it! Chances are, you will wake up the next day and regret your decision if you don’t.

HEALTH
Take the time to take care of your health. Eat well and be active, even if it is just a 20 minute walk a day! Take the time to plug in your headphones, turn off your phone and treat yourself to the feel good energy being healthy will give you!

LOVE
Spend time with your loved ones and tell them that you love them. Spreading love and feeling loved by the people you care about will boost your happiness no matter what!

SMILE
Smile at the person you ordered your coffee from. Smile at the person you walked past crossing the road. Smile at your friends. Smile at your family. Smile in the mirror. Smile at that grumpy lady on the bus who grumbles at everyone who sits in her spot. Smile even if you aren’t feeling like it, you might just forget whatever you were unhappy about!

TREAT YOURSELF
It is okay to treat yourself once in a while. Whether it be a muffin, a nice long nap, your favourite movie or some time out with your friends and family. You need to make sure you are rewarding yourself for everything you are doing in your life.

KNOW YOUR PRIORITIES
Make sure you are putting your energy into the things that matter! Take the time to understand what truly matters to you and make sure you are allocating the right amounts of energy to those things.

If you keep all of these in mind, hopefully you can make the most of every second of your time feeling the best that you possibly can!
